Su trabajo se centra en la activaci\u00f3n de los mecanismos de la representaci\u00f3n y la confrontaci\u00f3n. Resalta los conflictos y particularidades del entorno urbano y arquitect\u00f3nico a trav\u00e9s de la exposici\u00f3n de las partes que habitualmente est\u00e1n excluidas de la narrativa com\u00fan. Recibi\u00f3 una educaci\u00f3n en arquitectura de la Universidad de Arquitectura de Barcelona-Vall\u00e9s. Faus form\u00f3 una parte del colectivo de la exploraci\u00f3n urbana \u00abOsservatorio Nomade.\u00bb Ha dirigido los cortometrajes <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Ciudad Jubilada<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre Bastidores<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pedagog\u00eda<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as\u00ed como el documental <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00cd SE PUEDE: Siete d\u00edas en PAH Barcelona<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2014). M\u00e1s recientemente dirigi\u00f3 su primer largometraje, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alcaldessa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, por el que recibi\u00f3 el Premio Gaud\u00ed en 2017 y la Silver Biznaga al mejor director de un documental en el Festival de Cine Espa\u00f1ol de M\u00e1laga.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Pau Faus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a visual artist and documentary filmmaker from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. His work is focused on activating representation and confrontation mechanisms in order to highlight the conflicts and particularities of the urban and architectural environment through the exhibition of parts that are usually excluded from the common narrative. He graduated with a degree in architecture and taught at the Architecture University of Barcelona-Vall\u00e9s. Faus was part of the urban exploration collective \u201cOsservatorio Nomade.\u201d He has directed the short films <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Ciudad Jubilada<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre Bastidores<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pedagogy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as well as the medium-length film<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> S\u00cd SE PUEDE: 7 days in PAH Barcelona (2014)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Los estudiantes se prepararon para el taller viendo dos trabajos de Faus, Alcaldessa y S\u00ed SE PUEDE: Siete d\u00edas con la PAH Barcelona, \u200b\u200by explorando sus proyectos. El taller se dividi\u00f3 en tres sesiones y una proyecci\u00f3n de las pel\u00edculas en las que Faus present\u00f3 sus trabajos a los estudiantes, dirigi\u00f3 un foro abierto y alent\u00f3 a los estudiantes a poner en pr\u00e1ctica la creaci\u00f3n mediante un ejercicio creativo hecho en clase.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">\u00bfCu\u00e1l fue la propuesta del taller?<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El taller cuestion\u00f3 las percepciones de los estudiantes sobre los lugares y espacios, espec\u00edficamente aquellos que se consideran marginales como las \u00e1reas de transici\u00f3n y las que existen en la periferia de la sociedad. Faus lo hizo compartiendo sus trabajos creativos con los estudiantes y comprometi\u00e9ndose en sus propias reflexiones y aplicaciones del material. The workshop was divided into three sessions and a movie screening in which Faus introduced his works to students, led an open forum, and encouraged students to attempt the creative process themselves. <\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>What is the goal of the workshop?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop challenged students\u2019 perceptions of places and spaces, specifically those that are considered marginalized such as areas of transition and those that exist in the periphery of society. Faus did so by sharing his creative works with students and engaging them in their own reflection and application of the material.
