Doctor en Ciencias Pol\u00edticas por la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona, ha sido profesor en el departamento de Sociolog\u00eda y Metodolog\u00eda de las Ciencias Sociales, y profesor titular de Filosof\u00eda Moral en la misma. Miembro del Departamento Confederal de Medio Ambiente de CCOO, de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Agricultora Ecol\u00f3gica, de <a title=\"Ecologistas en Acci\u00f3n\" href=\"https:\/\/21stcenturyartivism.sites.carleton.edu\/en\/colectivos\/ecologistas-en-accion\/\">Ecologistas en Acci\u00f3n<\/a> y de Greenpeace Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0Trabaja como traductor y ha publicado ensayos y fundamentalmente poemas, que es el g\u00e9nero que cultiva.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>With a graduate degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1986, <strong>Jorge Riechmann<\/strong> studied Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional de Educaci\u00f3n a Distancia in Madrid and German Literature at the Wilhelm von Humbolt University in Berlin. He has a PhD in Political Science from the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona, where he serves as a professor in the Sociology and Methodology in Political Science department and associate professor in Moral Philosophy. He is a member of the CCOO&#8217;s Federal Environmental Department,\u00a0the Spanish Society of\u00a0Ecological Agriculture, <a title=\"Ecologistas en Acci\u00f3n\" href=\"https:\/\/21stcenturyartivism.sites.carleton.edu\/en\/colectivos\/ecologistas-en-accion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ecologistas en Acci\u00f3n<\/a>, and Greenpeace Espa\u00f1a.
