Clemente Bernad<\/strong>\u00a0naci\u00f3 en Pamplona en 1963.\u00a0Licenciado en Bellas Artes (Universidad de Barcelona) y DEA en Sociolog\u00eda por la Universidad P\u00fablica de Navarra. Ha trabajado como fot\u00f3grafo freelance para la prensa desde 1986 y es miembro de la agencia italiana de fotograf\u00eda Contrasto.\u00a0Fot\u00f3grafo y cineasta documentalista independiente, con un fuerte inter\u00e9s por las tem\u00e1ticas sociales y pol\u00edticas dentro de su entorno cultural m\u00e1s cercano. Entre sus trabajos destacan\u00a0Jornaleros<\/em>, sobre la vida de los campesinos temporeros andaluces;\u00a0Mujeres sin tierra, pobres de nosotros<\/em>, un proyecto colectivo sobre la marginalidad en Europa;\u00a0Canopus<\/em>, sobre la crisis econ\u00f3mica argentina;\u00a0Basque chronicles<\/em>, sobre el conflicto pol\u00edtico de Euskal Herria; la pel\u00edcula documental\u00a0El sue\u00f1o de Malika,<\/em>\u00a0y\u00a0Donde habita el recuerdo<\/em>, sobre las exhumaciones de fosas de la Guerra Civil Espa\u00f1ola. En la actualidad desarrolla su actividad como profesional independiente, docente y articulista.<\/p>\n

Clemente Bernad<\/strong>\u00a0was born in Pamplona, Spain in 1963. He\u00a0holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sociology from the Public University of Navarra. He has worked since 1986 as a freelance photographer for the press and is a member of the Italian photography agency Contrasto.\u00a0Photographer, filmmaker, and independent documentarian since 1986, he has a marked interest in social and political themes in his most immediate cultural context. He is most known for his work\u00a0Jornaleros<\/em>\u00a0about Andalusian agricultural wage laborers, his work from Chiapas after the Zapatista uprising,\u00a0Mujeres Sin Tierra<\/em>\u00a0about Saharan women, his participation in the\u00a0Pobres de Nosotros<\/em>, project about marginalized youth, and his extensive work on the political conflict in the Basque Country.\u00a0In 2004 he published\u00a0Malika\u2019s dream<\/em>, a photobook about the return of Malika\u2019s corpse back home. She was a young girl from Morocco who died trying to reach Spain on a small boat. He made his first documentary film on the same subject.\u00a0His most recent work has been developed in Latin America. He has been working on the project\u00a0Where memory dwells<\/em>\u00a0since 2003.\u00a0At present, he continues to work as an independent artist, teacher, and writer.<\/p>\n
