En el a\u00f1o 2006, rueda en coproducci\u00f3n con Francia el largometraje, Lo que s\u00e9 de Lola \/ Ce que je sais de Lola, protagonizado por Lola Due\u00f1as, Micha\u00ebl Abiteboul y Carmen Machi. Se estrena en la Secci\u00f3n Oficial a Concurso del Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebasti\u00e1n. La pel\u00edcula ha sido nominada al Goya a la Mejor Direcci\u00f3n Novel y ha obtenido una gran repercusi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica (es elegida por el conjunto de cr\u00edticos reunidos anualmente por El Cultural de El Mundo entre las cinco mejores pel\u00edculas del a\u00f1o). Participa en cincuenta festivales internacionales y, entre otros, gana el Premio FIPRESCI de la cr\u00edtica internacional en el London Film Festival (Inglaterra), el Gran Premio del Festival Internacional de Cine de Se\u00fal (Corea), el Premio Julio Verne a la Mejor Pel\u00edcula en el Festival de Cine Espa\u00f1ol de Nantes, el Gran Premio del Festival de Cine de Marsella (Francia), el Premio al Mejor Director en los festivales de Montevideo (Uruguay) y Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), y el Premio a la Mejor \u00d3pera Prima en los festivales de Tudela (Espa\u00f1a), Guadalajara (M\u00e9xico), MadridImagen (Espa\u00f1a) y Chicago Latino (EEUU).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Javier Rebollo<\/strong> was born in Madrid. In 2006, in co-production with France, he\u00a0directed\u00a0the feature film <em>Lo que s\u00e9 de Lola\/ Ce que je\u00a0sais\u00a0de Lola (What I Know About Lola)<\/em>, starring\u00a0Lola Due\u00f1as, Micha\u00ebl Abiteboul and Carmen Machi. The film was premiered as part of the Official Selection of\u00a0the San Sebasti\u00e1n International Film Festival (Spain). The film\u00a0was nominated for a Goya for\u00a0Best New Director, and has received high praise from critics\u00a0(it was deemed one of the best 5 films of the year by a group of critics who meet annually on behalf of\u00a0<em>El Cultural <\/em>from Spanish newspaper<em>\u00a0El Mundo<\/em>).
