Ha sido director de la editorial Debate y actualmente desempe\u00f1a la direcci\u00f3n literaria del sello editorial Caballo de Troya (Penguin Random House). Ejerci\u00f3 la cr\u00edtica literaria en diversos medios de prensa: revista <em>El Urogallo,\u00a0<\/em>diario <em>El Pa\u00eds, <\/em>diario <em>El Independiente.\u00a0<\/em>Entre 1978 y 1985, coordin\u00f3 la edici\u00f3n de la colecci\u00f3n <em>Tus Libros<\/em> de la editorial Anaya.<\/p>\n<p>En los a\u00f1os noventa cofund\u00f3 la Escuela de Letras de Madrid, donde ejerci\u00f3 como director de estudios. Es profesor en el M\u00e1ster de Edici\u00f3n de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, en el M\u00e1ster de Edici\u00f3n de la Universidad de Salamanca (Grupo Santillana) y en el M\u00e1ster de Edici\u00f3n Iberoamericano.\u00a0Desde 1990 viene desempe\u00f1ando funciones ejecutivas en el mundo editorial: director editorial de la Editorial Debate. Actualmente es el director literario de la editorial Caballo de Troya, perteneciente al grupo Penguin Random House.<\/p>\n<p>Ha participado en distintos congresos sobre literatura y lectura tanto en Europa como en Am\u00e9rica Latina. En 2009 recibi\u00f3 el Premio Period\u00edstico sobre Lectura de la Fundaci\u00f3n Germ\u00e1n S\u00e1nchez Ruip\u00e9rez.Es autor de diversos estudios sobre la edici\u00f3n y la lectura: <em>La narrativa espa\u00f1ola entre 1975-1985 <\/em>(Revista de Occidente), <em>Leer \u00bfpara qu\u00e9?<\/em>(Revista Educaci\u00f3n y Bibliotecas. Madrid, 1995), <em>La Edici\u00f3n sin editores o el capitalismo sin capitalistas. <\/em>(Revista Archipi\u00e9lago. Madrid. 2003).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Constantino B\u00e9rtolo,\u00a0<\/strong>with a degree in Spanish Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid, is one of the most prestigious critics and editors in Spain. He has been the director of the editorial\u00a0<em>Debate<\/em>\u00a0and currently serves as the literary director of the publishing label Trojan Horse (Penguin Random House). He has practiced literary criticism in various news media: the magazine\u00a0<em>El Urogallo, <\/em>and the\u00a0newspapers\u00a0<em>El Pa\u00eds\u00a0<\/em>and <em>El Independiente. \u00a0<\/em>Between 1978 and 1985, he curated\u00a0the collection\u00a0<em>Tus Libros<\/em>, published by Anaya.<\/p>\n<p>In the nineties he co-founded the School of Letters of Madrid, where he served as director of studies. He teaches at the Master&#8217;s Program\u00a0at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, the Master&#8217;s Program at the University of Salamanca (Santillana Group) and the Master&#8217;s Program of Iberoamericano. Since 1990, he has been performing executive functions in the editorial world as editorial director of the editorial <em>Debate.<\/em> He is currently the director of the literary editorial Trojan Horse, as part of the Penguin Random House.<\/p>\n<p>He has participated in various conferences on\u00a0literature and reading in Europe and Latin America. In 2009, he received the Journalistic Prize in<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Reading from the Germ\u00e1n S\u00e1nchez Ruip\u00e9rez Foundation.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>He is the author of several studies on editing and reading: <em>The Spanish narrative between 1975-1985<\/em> (<em>Western Magazine<\/em>), <em>Why read?<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Education and Library Magazine<\/em>.
