A Rocío, madre soltera y sin trabajo, apenas le da para comer. Temiendo perder la tutela de Adrián, su hijo de 8 años, intenta aparentar una vida normal. Pero la situación empeora cuando el propietario de la vivienda, agobiado también por las deudas, los denuncia por no pagar el alquiler. Rocío, an unemployed, single mother, hardly has enough to get by. Afraid of losing custody of her eight year old son, Adrián, she feigns appearance of a normal life. Her situation gets worse when her landlord, also swamped with debt, reports her for not paying rent. Time appears to be working against her and it seems impossible that she will find a solution.
