During the Fall of 2014, Silvia Nanclares came to Carleton to facilitate a creative writing workshop with Professor Palmar Álvarez Blanco’s 300-level seminar entitled «Contemporary Fiction & the Market». The students were given the opportunity to work with Silvia one-on-one as well as a large group to create their own piece of writing within the genre known as «autobiographical fiction», which is the space between autobiographical and fictional works. At the end of the week, each student read his/her own piece to Silvia, Palmar, and the rest of the class, as you can see in the photos below!
