Maite Vitoria Daneris es directora y productora de cine documental. Nacida en Madrid en 1978, a la edad de 15 años comienza su interés por la fotografía y la imagen. Es licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, en la especialidad de «Artes de la imagen».
En el año 2004 realiza sus primeros cortometrajes documentales grabados en un pueblo en la Sierra de Extremadura; Volved y Somos nueve. En el 2005 recién licenciada en la Universidad, realiza un viaje a Turín, allí descubre el ambiente creativo y cinematográfico que se mueve en la ciudad, y decide quedarse durante un tiempo. Ha vivido diez años en Turín, donde ha trabajado como realizadora en diferentes proyectos en el ambiente del cine documental, documental social, y del arte contemporáneo.
Maite Vitoria Daneris is a director and producer of documentary films. Born in Madrid in 1978, her interest in photography and the image began at the age of 15. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in «Arts of the image».
In 2004 she made her first documentary short films, recorded in a town in the Sierra in Extremadura in Spain; Volved y Somos nueve (Return and We Are Nine). In 2005, recently graduated from the University, she took a trip to Turín, where she discovered the creative and cinematographic environment of the city, and decided to stay there for a while. She has lived in Turín for ten years, where she’s worked as a director on different projects in the area of documentary film, social documentary, and contemporary art.
