Colectivos de Acción Solidaria (CAS) surge de la necesidad de algunas asociaciones y colectivos que trabajaban en el campo social en varias Comunidades Autónomas españolas, detectando las mismas carencias y planteándose unos objetivos comunes por el bien de la sociedad. Se unen en el año 1989, formando una ONG, con el fin de mejorar los zonas donde están ubicados. A partir del año 2001 CAS es declarado servicio de Utilidad Pública.
Colectivos de Acción Solidaria (CAS) was born through the efforts of a handful of associations and collectives working in the social sphere and located throughout Spain’s Autonomous Communities. After noticing the same problems and recognizing the need for change, they set out to propose a set of common goals for the good of society. They joined forced in 1989, forming an NGO and each hoping to better the area where they were located. In 2001, CAS was deemed an important public service.
