Xavier Artigas es sociólogo y artista visual. Empieza su carrera cinematográfica en 2008 como colaborador de cineastas como Mercedes Álvarez y Ricardo Íscar. En 2012 dirige y produce su primer largometraje documental, [NO-RES], vida y muerte de un espacio en tres actos, el cual gana el primer premio del Festival Documenta Madrid 2012 (mejor largometraje nacional). Xavier también es fundador, junto con Xapo Ortega, de la productora independiente METROMUSTER.
Xavier Artigas is a sociologist and visual artist. He started his cinematographic career in 2008 collaborating with filmmakers Mercedes Álvarez and Ricardo Íscar. In 2012, he directed and produced his first feature film, a documentary called [NO-RES], life and death in the space of three acts. The documentary won first prize at the Festival Documenta Madrid in 2012 (best national feature film). Xavier is also the founder, along with Xapo Ortega, of the independent film producer METROMUSTER.
